First Haircut!
As cute as Jaime and I think Sam's shaggy hair may be... we do understand that some folks may consider this neglect. Not to mention 50% of store clerks have said, "how old is she?" That said, we put down our fears that he wouldn't sit still in the barber chair. We ran him around good to wear him out, see the previous posts photos from this weekend (we tried to get the haircut Sunday afternoon, but they were closed).
Of course it was a brilliant idea of ours to just walk-in to Kids Cuts. The parking lot looked empty. Two gals were sitting around in official smocks. While another was cutting the hair of some kid in there. We did get in right away. Though, since the other kid in there was a boy, he got the camouflage G.I. Joe looking Jeep to sit in while he got his hair cut.
Sam got the pink Barbie jeep to sit in. In the pink girl's haircutting cubicle.
Note to Sam when he reads this for the first time: Sorry! Though, I tried my darndest to crop out the Barbie chair, there's still a lot of pink here and for that, name the date and time and I'm taking you out for steak.

Sam did a fantastic job. Much better than we thought. It helped that they played him a DVD of cartoons. It wasn't until after the haircut that he didn't sit still. Not even long enough for a decent picture. Ya'll will have to wait.
