Almost 6 months
At almost 6 months old, Sam has begun to become a little grabber. Grabbing your shirt, your hair, his hair, a cat, blankets, glasses or whatever. Typically he'll grab at something just to gnaw on it. Anyways ... here's a few photos now that we are in our house in Wisconsin.
Sam's Uncle Jeff recently stopped out with some Wisconsin Badger's gear. I think Sam will be a fan. Sam never wears hats. He doesn't like wearing them. But, in his new Badger hat, he gets a lot of work (gnawing, grabbing) done.

This interesting piece of baby equipment is a Jumperoo. It's a very secure, non-doorway infant jumping seat. Sam goes nuts in it. And now that his feet touch the floor (we had been sticking a Minneapolis phone book under him to stand on) he'll jump and play in this for about a half hour at a time.
Speaking of feet, Sam has recently discovered he has them.
Here's the latest addition to the household. Her name is Daisy. She's a 12 week old Newfoundland. Sweet as can be. After a week of working with her, we think she's starting to get the hint that Sam isn't a chew toy. Similarly, Sam is also learning that our cats and now Daisy aren't just furry decorations that move around. As noted earlier, he's grabbing at everything. Many fistfuls of animal hair.
