Smile Video

Sam has been smiling for a couple weeks now. You wouldn't know it from the HOURS of FOOTAGE we've taken to prove it. Finally, this weekend, the little man put it together for us on film. Check it out.

TWO MONTHS and TEN POUNDS!

Sam turned two months on Sunday and had his coinciding doctor visit yesterday. He fought hard through all the shots they gave him.

Official stats: 10lbs 7oz ... 23 1/4" long
Doctor said, he's doing great!

7 Week Stretch

Sam started smiling during his vacation in Wisconsin last week. Plus, he gained at least a pound. He is also started to track ceiling fans and his mobile. Here's a few snaps from this past week after he returned home.

He doesn't do a bad job sittin' up (with back support of course)

This last photo was taken today at 7 1/2 weeks
We (at least Noah) firmly believe this outfit
a gift from Jaime's brother Roger's family (Bear fans)
will turn around the Packer's luck.

I can hardly believe it was 7 weeks ago he came into our lives. Look how much he's changed.

Sam Visits Wisconsin - Part 2

Jaime and Sam got back to town this past Saturday and brought back the camera. Please excuse me for not getting these up faster. I missed both of them very much so, I've been playing serious husband and dad instead of diary keeper.

Sam Visits Wisconsin - Part 1

On Friday, October 6, Jaime and I packed up Sam and headed to Southern Wisconsin for Sam's first big trip to meet his family. Sam had a chance to meet all of his grandparents, many of his aunts, uncles and cousins.

On Sunday, I had to return to Minnesota for work. Sam and Jaime are staying the week to visit with more family and friends. Jaime has our camera, so these are a few photos that were e-mailed to me when I got back. Many more photos to be posted this weekend when Sam and Jaime return.

It's a bummer that I can't be down there with them. Though, this week is giving me a chance to catch up on some sleep. I am finding that sleep is overrated. My body has adjusted to waking up every couple hours ... and now when I wake up after 7-8 hours of sleep, I feel hungover!

If you find yourself in Southern Wisconsin and need a little Sam time, Jaime has her cell phone on her or send me an e-mail and I'll get you in contact. They've got a busy week ahead, but we want Sam to meet and see everyone as much as possible.

The newest news is that Sam has given out a few real smiles. I've yet to see one! Can't wait for Saturday when they get back!

Big thanks to my mom, cousin Lisa and Sheryl for sending some photos. I miss the little fella big time.

Sleeping Beauties

Sam with Mom
I'm sure down the road (if Sam sees this) I may catch a little grief for calling him a beauty. But, I can't help it. Photo taken late last week.
